2025 Scholarship Recipients
The Tristian Southworth Service Award
Emma Rowell (Greensboro), CCV/Saint Michael’s College
Emma Rowell is a dedicated Early College student, member of the NHS, and entrepreneur. She owns her own photography business and plans to continue her Associate’s at CCV before transferring to St. Michael’s College. Mom is Heather Lumsden.
The Pat Gallant Spirit Award
Baylie Christensen (Hardwick), Western Carolina University for PT School
Baylie is an all around Hazen Wildcat! She is a year round soccer and basketball athlete, who has suffered season ending injuries. This experience has led to her wanting to pursue a career in PT to help student athletes prevent and tend to their sports related injuries. Baylie was at GMTCC her sophomore and junior year and is at Early College at Vermont State University in Johnson. She was a member of our Prom Committee and was inducted in to NHS this spring. Parents are Garth and Carrie Christensen.
H.A. Class of 1955 Future Endeavors
Taylor Cloutier (Hardwick), Lineman School
This student has been a dedicated member of the basketball team and school community. Taylor took more time than others in his class to figure out his path, but is excited to commit to pursuing Lineman School in Georgia. He is working with our VSAC counselor, Michelle Legre, to find funding and these funds would further help support him in these endeavors. Dad, Jason Cloutier, is also an alum and is a single father. Financial support is limited so these funds would be greatly appreciated!
